The organizers will introduce themselves and set the goals of this workshop.

Invited researchers and practitioners will participate in a panel on Open Challenges and Avenues for Interdisciplinary Collaboration. This panel aims to foster the discussion among all communities working in the theme of the workshop and to try to establish a common ground for future collaborations.

11:00 – Minute Madness Presentations

The workshop participants will introduce themselves and describe their research very briefly

12:00 – Outline Research Challenges

Separate participants in small sub-groups for the afternoon sessions. Group formation will be based on the open challenges participants want to address.

13:30 – Hands-On Session

Hacking blind navigation open challenges through the design and/or prototype of assistive technologies to support independent blind navigation.
